Sport: Five Reasons I’m Looking Forward To Wimbledon

We’re just days away now from one of the most quintessentially British traditions: Wimbledon. Commencing on 29th June, the event will see two weeks of hardcore tennis, strawberries and cream and no doubt a few celebrity guest appearances.

Of course, major sporting fans will be heading over to Coral to catch up on the latest tennis news, but for the rest of us – there is one reason we’ll be tuning in. The HOTTIES. Here are five reasons why we’re looking forward to this centuries-old tournament.

Rafael Nadal

Incredibly, this King of Clay didn’t even make it into the Sexiest Man Alive list into 2014, but it was well worth the wait. The 29-year-old hot-blooded Spaniard has had plenty of media coverage thanks to winning 14 Grand Slam Singles titles. Coincidentally, at the same time he was indicted into the above list, he also started modelling underwear for Tommy Hilfiger. One word: hot.

Fabio Fognini

Everybody loves an Italian Stallion, and nobody fits this description better than the jaw-droppingly gorgeous Fabio Fognini. As World No.13, it may be unlucky for some, but not for us ladies – if you haven’t had the pleasure, make sure you head over to Cosmo to check out his NAKED charity shoot. Yes ladies, naked.

Roger Federer

We’re never one to turn down a golden oldie, or at least, an oldie in athletics terms. While Roger Federer, at 33, may be a little older than his fellow ‘Big Four’ counterparts, it’s undeniable that his baby-faced smile is one that gets us weak at the knees. Sadly he’s better known for modelling Rolexes than teeny tiny pants, but we still wouldn’t kick him out of bed.

Stan Wawrinka

Swiss boy Stan Wawrinka has something of a cheeky grin about him, which just says to us that he probably knows his stuff on and off the courts…if you know what I mean. Unfortunately for us, his wife, Ilham Vuilloud, is also insanely hot, but we can still drool from the comfort of our living rooms.

Andy Murray

There’s nothing like a little home-grown talent, and Brit (or Scottish when he’s losing) Andy Murray promises us just that. With an unashamed love for his mummy, Murray is definitely one you would be happy to bring home to the family – and that super hot photo shoot with GQ Magazine is one reason why you definitely shouldn’t.
