Where have the summer holidays gone? What is it about having children that makes time to evaporate? The Menace, now aged 4 years old, is starting her reception year at ‘big’ school in September. So now I have two children to deck out in back-to-school gear before September. I was delighted when Matalan approached me and challenged me to spend a £100 on their fantastic back-to-school range. What I hadn’t expected was how hard I would have to work to spend it – why, because it’s such good value!
When the bounty arrived I was delighted to discover that the combination of quality and value was superb. My children grow quickly and I am reluctant to spend money on expensive clothes which last a matter months. I would rather buy less expensive clothes that will last as long as they grow. The good thing about the Matalan range was that I was able to buy enough clothes to keep the Menace in school clothes all the way through the term, including a lovely duffle coat that will keep her warm in the winter. Thanks to Matalan, we are all set for the autumn term without having to battle through the crowds of frazzled mothers and fidgeting children. It’s easy peasy – you order online and they deliver to your door.
So don’t delay – don’t make back-to-school expensive and stressful let Matalan do the work for you. We are very happy bunnies and now I just have to deal with the emotional rollercoaster of watching my baby grow up into a little girl and begin ‘big’ school. At least I know that she’ll look as cute as a button in her Matalan gingham check school dress….woosh, what was that? That was your life flashing before your eyes…children – the time evaporators.
