This is a truly awesome toy!! The young Jedi Knight The Grenade and his chum, The Dark Sith Lord Maximus loved it. It’s light and easy to handle but has the length and weight enough to feel authentic. The blade lights up and when you move it around it makes the same sound as the light sabres in the Star Wars movie.

Obviously it’s release coincides with the release of the Blue Ray complete 6 box set edition, which The Grenade will be getting for Christmas so that I can watch it. I would love to sit down and do a marathon six film from start to finish Star Wars session. Yes, I am that sad!! I am a massive Star Wars fan especially of the original films. The Grenade hasn’t tapped into the first three that were most recently released but he does love The Clone Wars series.

I recommend that you watch the You Tube video we did of The Young Jedi, The Grenade fighting The Dark Sith Lord Maximus. The Lightsaber’s really came into their own when filmed in the dark and the kids loved it. The wooshing noise sounded fab and you can see from the video how much fun they had.
